According to the 2023 Indonesia Statistical Report from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), throughout 2022, Indonesia exported 434,190 tons of coffee, marking a 12.92% increase from the previous year (year-on-year/yoy). The total export value reached USD 1.13 billion.
There are several important stages when conducting export procedures to foreign countries. These stages need to be prepared in detail to ensure the safety and quality of the exported products.

PSS Delivery (Sample Delivery Before Shipment)
Sample Delivery Before Shipment (PSS Delivery) refers to the process of sending product samples to the buyer or importer before the full order is shipped. PSS Delivery is conducted to allow the buyer to inspect and verify the quality, design, and specifications of the product before giving final approval for shipment. SKA will handle PSS Delivery to the buyer several weeks before export.
Coffee Quality
Ensuring coffee quality is undoubtedly very important. We ensure that coffee beans meet the quality standards required for export. Regular quality control checks, including cupping and grading, are carried out to maintain product consistency and excellence. In addition, we always ensure that the quality of the coffee shipped matches the samples sent to the buyer.
Shipping
Before the product is shipped, it is important to prepare all necessary export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other documents required by the importing country. Then, proceed to establish a contract with the buyer, outlining payment terms, shipping conditions, and relevant details.
